About Jason

My painting and drawing are experiments on how to define and claim an understanding of the unknowns in life. My belief in the work derives from studies of spiritual texts, ephemeral poetry, societal essays, and the artifacts of physics (such as splitting the atom). Like many artists I obsess over each painting, erasing and re-covering the surface, often only producing a handful of works per decade.

I currently reside in upstate New York.
